Gustav Klimt was a Viennese painter of the early twentieth century. He is well known for his erotic paintings of women, along with portraits of the well-to-do bourgeoisie. In this solo performance, we meet Klimt in an interview with a potential client, a young woman whose fiance wants a portrait of his beautiful young wife. As Klimt tries to convince his guest to commission a portrait, he flashes back to his primary relationship with a talented clothing designer who wants him to commit to marriage, and his struggle to commit.
